Brief Author Bio: About me? Well I've written all my life - daft things like antique columns for a mag, stage sketches and adaptations, newsletters, even edited a motor magazine! Only since 2003 have I been writing novels seriously. This was the first year I entered Nanowrimo for fun - now it's become an obsession! I have since won Nano 03, 04, 05, 06, 08!! I'm actually a Grecophile - I've spent all my holidays for the last 15 years in Greece. My writing all began with my piece, 'Paros', published in Lonely Planet’s collection of travel stories, 'Rite of Passage - Tales of Backpacking 'Round Europe', P.168, (Lonely Planet Publications, 2003), then the acceptance of one of my photos of Israel for their Asian book. This inspired me to expand my Greek diaries into 'GREECE - Gleeful Glimpses', and to set up my Greek website. Now a member of the Queensland Writer’s Centre and the Romance Writers of Australia, I've had short stories published in Cautionary Tale Best of... and Filler (2004) and Little Gems, Amethyst, RWA (2007) and have appeared online in Blueprint Review in words and pictures. I've also a small piece about her home city, the Gold Coast of Australia, in Mo(nu)ment, Blue Print Press, (2006). My adventure novel for children, 'Max and the Gang of Five', (2005) is now available (contact me). My two websites are |
