Brief Author Bio:

I am a writer who lives in Arkansas, loves in Mississippi, and dreams of traveling long distances in person and through words. I have spent my last two years of NaNoWriMo along side writers who I have befriended and known for a fairly long time. However this year is a little bit different. Now I am living in a new part of the country, attending college, and starting out solo, Hopefully I'll run into a few friends along the way, but I guess we'll just have to see.

When I'm not working on NaNo (as in the rest of the year) I am a poet, mainly because I have too short of an attention span to finish anything I write that is longer than a few pages. During NaNo, however, am notorious for being a fantasy writer with little tiddly bits of philosophy thrown in here and there, but this year I am going to try writing something that is more sci-fi with hints of political allegory present throughout. I'm not sure how it is going to turn out since I have significantly less time to write than I have in years past, but all the same, I am fairly anxious to see how it plays out. My goals for this year's NaNo are to finish 50,000 words in the first week (hopefully finding time to cap 100k by the end of the month) and most importantly of all, actually finishing my story.
