Synopsis: Texas Country

Matt, a college student recently laid off from his summer job, decides to travel from East Texas to California on his motorcycle. He breaks down in Pecos, Texas, and meets Joy. He is so smitten by Joy that he decides to linger a few days. The days turn into weeks when he finds, not one, but three summer jobs. He hardly has time to date Joy. His life is further complicated when he becomes embroiled in small town feuds, political drama, a drug ring, a jealous ex-boyfriend, a femme fatale, a mysterious sniper, and falls afoul of his girl's controlling brother who thinks he runs the town. On the other hand, he does learn to line dance, use a handgun, fly an airplane, and appreciate country music. But will he ever make it to California?
