Synopsis:

Summer vacation has arrived, and the students of Clayson's Boarding School for the Gifted are all excited about spending time far away from the Sierra Nevada's. Until, that is, a phone call from her brother tells Amaya that she's staying.
Ryou asks his parents if she can come stay with them, and everyone agrees. Things are looking even better as they reach the Luciani's beach front and island home in southern California, for a few days at least.
A group of 'normal' scientists haunt the nation, kidnapping anyone under twenty they see who appears to be a 'gifted'. Including Ryou and Amaya.
Amidst frantic escapes, confused captivation, ghostly messages, and much gunfire, tensions rise, friendships are tested, and relationships are strengthened. Sacrifices are made, tears are shed, and Ryou and Amaya struggle to reach their fourth year at Clayson's alive...
