Synopsis: Dreamwoven
Sleep is no longer a safe place for me. Gone are the days where I can happily slip in to my covers. My childhood stuffed animals obtained at birthday parties and state fairs no longer bring me comfort. I no longer find enjoyment in hitting snooze before school. My Saturday mornings are full of sunrises I find no beauty in, only safety. Sunrise to sunset, as long as my eyes are open I am safe.
It’s only in my dreams that Derrick can get to me.
