Brief Author Bio: Japanese-American writing and aspiring novelist with a dry wit and cutting sarcasm. I love to observe people for the pure joy of finding unique quirks. |

Excerpt:
She would have been alone in Kansas where the wheat stretched for miles across acres of land. Where oil rigs pumped in and out of the ground like rocking horses. Where sunflowers shined singularly from stalks, nestling seeds within their faces – hard outer shells protecting the vulnerable inner seed. She was in middle America with limited English and nowhere to go but outside.
