Brief Author Bio:

I have a MA in Medieval Studies, a BA in English and Psychology, and, perhaps appropriately, work at a Barnes and Noble. I had every intention of becoming a high school English teacher, fully secure in the knowledge that years of acting and performing in front of countless spectators would serve me well. Then, after a bout of stage fright and some other unsettling instances, I turned tail and ran back to the world of coffee-slinging and retail.

Now, a little more than a year after "the student teaching incident," I still work at Barnes and Noble and dream of a day when I will become brave and find out what I really want to "do with my life."

In the meantime, I primarily focus on my music performance and songwriting (which will be on the backburner for the next month). Music is my deepest passion, and though I may never make one red cent at it, it fulfills me more than anything else in this world.
Music and my friends keep me sane and keep me trying, even on the days when I just want to give up on the world.

And that's me, in this moment.
