Synopsis: Half Mortal

A princess wakes up to find the Castle cursed, what caused it, and can her, her little brother, and Emeth the witches daughter save their home?

Excerpt: Half Mortal

[Princess] pulled her blanket over her head. It wasn’t even dawn yet, but she was wide awake. Something she was not happy about.

The room was cold too, she could smell the ash of the dead fire from the fireplace. One of the servants should be in at dawn, they would relight it, not that it should have been allowed to go out in the first place.

[Princess] Frowned there was something wrong, she didn’t know what it was but...

There was magic in the air.

[Princess] had no magic of her own, but one did not grow up in the same castle as a witch and her daughter with out learning what it feels like, the cold burn of static in the air.

With a sigh [Princess] tossed the blankets away from herself and got out of bed.

“Cold cold cold” She muttered under her breath as she slipped her feet into her slippers and drew her house coat around her.

The girl shivered still but she still walked over to her door reaching to turn the handle...
