A twist in History in the Fashion of Doing One Thing that Will Mess Up All of the Other Things that will Eventually Come to Pass
an excerpt
Rain pelted at the windows of the cold, dank, and dreary cabin. The people inside all huddled closely around the fireplace and exchanged stories about each others travels. All of a sudden, a bolt of lighting lit up the room and the door opened as loud as a lion when it roars. Standing in the doorway was a tall and lanky man. He had a very dark top hat that seemed to be too tall for a man of his size. His coat was so long that it dragged against the ground whenever he took a step. When he first took a step into the cabin, the firelight made his eyes shine the bright color of gold, and it seemed as though the eye itself was laughing menacingly. As he took off his coat and put it onto the rack, he walked up the group of people huddling around the fireplace and asked them, “Who ere is n charge of e inn?” One of the people who were huddled round the fireplace stood up and asked the man, “How long are you planning to stay here?” “Just tonight so that I may be able to stay out of all that horrible weather.” “Very well then, that will be about two pounds for tonight and here is your bed.” “Thank you.”
The man sat down on the cot and took out hid note book along with a pair of spectacles from one of his many coat pockets. He began to read the marks made in some sort of old writing style that had been lost probably many eons ago. The writing looked like this:
Of course the man understood the language because he started to tell tales from it in the language it was written in. The men at the fireplace heard the stories that the man was telling and did not understand a word of what he said. Then all of a sudden, a bright white blinding flash filled the room and all the people around the fireplace froze. The bright white light had come from where the man lay on the cot. For after the flash. The man was gone, and all that was left on the cot was the novel which lay open to the last page he had read from it. That is how all the chaos that followed began.
The man found himself in a place that was very familiar to him, but he had only seen this place in his history textbook. He recognized this place as the Rome. Looking around he noticed a large stone building. He noticed the design and remembered that his building was an oracle. Taking a step inside the building, he saw Emperor Julius Ceaser, walking up the steps. The man right away walked in and found the priest. The priest asked the man what he wanted. Right away the man pushed the priest against the wall and asked the priest his name. The priest replies, “My name is Julius, and I command you to unhand me right this minute.” “I will consider letting you go, but first I will lock you away in the temple of Jupiter.” He then led the priest to the Temple of Jupiter and locked the giant wooden doors in the center square room of the temple with the priest inside. The man then took the name of Julius and became the priest at the oracle for the moment being. Then he went back the oracle and waited for Ceaser to come and ask him what the almighty Jupiter wanted him to do.
Julius Ceaser arrives at the oracle just before the senate meeting that day. He asks Julius what the almighty Jupiter wanted of him. Julius said to him, “Beware of the senate when you walk down to the floor today, for people will try to kill you.” “Who will try to kill me?” asked Ceaser. “The men who seek to kill you are Tillius Cimber, Marcus Brutus, and Gaius Cassius.” “I thought that Marcus Brutus and Gaius Cassius were my friends.” “They are your friends but they have been led astray by the evil of the other members of the senate.” “What does almighty Jupiter want me to do about the senators that are plotting to kill me?” “It is not the almighty Jupiter that is telling you this, it is the Christian God telling these things to you.” “What does he want me to do about this?’ “It is wrong to say that, for God is the master of the universe. He is very merciful and loves all of his children very much. Did you know that he sent his only son Jesus to die for us in order so that all of his children may be saved?” “No I did not know this, is there anyway that I may become a Christian today.” “Yes there is, but it would involve missing the meeting at the senate and would require that you go through all of the sacraments of initiation.” “Right now, I do not care for the meeting at the senate because I am doomed to die if I go to it. So could you please help me to go through all of the sacraments that I will need to go through.
Try and guess what history was messed up here everyone.
