Brief Author Bio: This year I am a senior in highschool and so excited, and nervous, to graduate! I live in North Carolina with my mom and grandparents. I would like to be a published author someday but that is a long way off, I'm still not serious enough and I'm a procrastinator. Besides writing I love cooking, the computer, reading, anime and manga and sewing. |

Synopsis: Friendlies
Timothy West’s life has just been turned upside down, government officials have ransacked his home, taken his father, killed his mother and are out to do the same to him. Running for his life he meets the elusive group of people fighting for the rights of dissidents. Calling themselves “Hostiles”, in spite of the governments “Friendly” program, they fight the corrupt powers in their search for freedom.
Excerpt: Friendlies
“Hold it,” Tim said, “I don’t understand how exactly does this thing work? What does ‘Friendlies’ do?”
“I don’t really understand it, it’s all technical geeky stuff but from what I know ‘Friendlies’ sends out some sort of signal that lets the government know where people are all the time and what they’re doing. Then if the government sees that a person is doing something wrong or trying to turn people against them they go out and take that person away.” Cordelia explained roughly.
“Okay so back to the scientists, what did they do?” Tim said.
“They created a virus that would destroy ‘Friendlies’ they called it ‘Hostiles’ they placed the secret program in the chips the government was implanting in people in a few select individuals.” She said proudly.
“You’re a select individual?” Tim snickered.
“Well more like they placed it in people who didn’t yet exist in the program, most adults on the planet were already being traced but children were still free.” She explained, “They placed the chips into orphans and other children who weren’t vaccinated yet.”
“They put them in vaccines?” Tim asked shocked.
“The ones required when a child enters school, so everyone under school age was safe.” She said, “You are too, you must have the same virus chips that we have or else Caleb would have never told you all of this.”
“So why did these virus chips worked?” Tim asked, ten years ago he was just going into school.
“Your vaccination records are faked, while the vaccine was real it was the government approved one.” She said, “The scientists took the kids all five to six years old and gave them special made vaccines with the virus chips that couldn’t be tracked and so they didn’t exist in the ‘Friendlies’ program.”
“Okay, so how many are there?” Tim asked.
“With you we number a little over five hundred all over the world.” She said.
