Synopsis: Myrtle Beach
In 1942, Clara Warren is a successful student at Wellesley College, the most prestigious College for women in the United States. While studying to become the president of her family's News Corporation, she meets Salford Bentham, her literature professor, and falls in love with him.
In 1955, Clara Bentham lives in a secluded beach in Cape Cod, where she helps her isolated husband to write and where she can control his mental episodes. She's far from happy with her life, and moreso when she meets a woman who will change her perspective in a way no one ever has.
