Synopsis: The Ilerian

An honorable gangster with a brutal history has no interest in politics. She wants to survive the cruel environment she was born to, and win glory and loot while she's at it. When an unknown adversary leaves her the sole living member of her gang, she is thrown into a new realm of intrigue and deception. Ilerians are bound to a fate no better than slavery--unless she can find the courage to stop it.

A dutiful prince desires nothing but to be left in peace with his horses. However, he discovers a chilling prophecy foretelling the destruction of Ileria. As plague and war ravages his adopted country, he fears that it is all too true... unless he can find the one person who can stop it--before someone else gets to her first.

An cunning enchantress schemes for power, using the gangster's honor and the prince's duty to spark a war that will achieve only save her own twisted ends. While they squabble, she seeks an ancient sword that will make her master of Ileria, and bring all races under her control. If the gangster and prince cannot put aside their difference and stop her from taking the throne, the land itself will never be free of her.
