The eagle made a final squawk and then started its assault run on the lion. Astor ran towards his lion, knowing that the lion could either try to attack the eagle, or attack him. Astor ran at full speed towards the lion and jumped onto its back. At that time the eagle saw Astor jump into its view and pulled up. Astor jumped and landed on the eagles back. Astor hung on for his life while the eagle flew to an incredible height. Astor looked down at the ground and saw how small the lion had gotten. Then he looked back at the eagles destination and he saw they were going into a nosedive. Astor started crawling towards the eagles’ head very slowly. Just before they reached the ground Astor slammed the point of his sword into the neck of the eagle. The eagle squawked and started drifting to the left. Astor quickly crawled to the other side of the eagle just in time to hit the ground.
