Down in the mud
an excerpt

Influenced by the cash and shares, Paul was on his way to visit his best friend, Jeff, in Bristol. He hoped they would have a good chat about food, women, and money. Maybe a little music thrown in there too. The first time Paul felt he had too much money sitting in the stock exchange and the bank, he'd thought he could do something more useful and itneresting with it. So he had helped fund Jeff in setting up his own restaurant. Pual wasn't sure he'd ever see the money again, but it wasn't a big concern. No one would have suspected Jeff of having a sharp mind for business, but he did. The money was far from wasted, and infact, had turned out to be a profitable investment. So that was the destination for his Friday evening. He'd go and sit in his favourite spot by the window, order a hugely inflated bottle from from bottom of the winelist.
