Synopsis: Skirting the Veil

An emotionally dependent, footloose American woman follows her Moroccan boyfriend to his Mediterranean hometown where they pass themselves off as newlyweds in order to live together. Against the backdrop of Moroccan culture, Evie draws strength from the women in his family and learns to stop fabricating her life and begin living it.
