About me
I decided to keep a journal today because I have big plans for this year. Last year they gave me a composition notebook in school to put my daily writing assignments in. I only used half of it so I’ll start in the middle. I’m keeping the old stuff I wrote. In case anyone tries to snoop, they will just see essays like “What I want to be when I grow up” and “Three things I can do to help save the planet.”
I have to be careful because if someone reads this I am so busted! I can’t hide it under the mattress or the bed because that is so, like, ordinary. Anyone would think to look there, even the Smiths. Same idea for my underwear drawer. Well, right now I’m fresh out of ideas. I’ll let you know what I come up with. Some day I want to be a writer and if I can pull off my big scheme, I want to have a record for my memoirs or first novel, kind of like that book by Koningsberg about those kids who run away to the museum, except my book will be true.
