Joanna walked out in the sunlight, barefoot. It was safe enough here. She walked around her shelter and looked up through the trees. She could see the sun, not high up in the sky, but visible enough to see it through the majestic crown of trees. She put a hand up to her eyes to avoid the sun’s glare. She looked to see where it was in the sky. By the looks of it, Jo guessed it was around eight in the morning. A reasonable time to bathe. The water wouldn’t be too cold. It would however be enough to erase the fear she had felt. She hoped.
