this week it's called 'ratiocination'
an excerpt

For some reason Professor Fell's class on the detective novel was undersubscribed that year; and, of course, the numbers were to thin out further over that fatal semester. Poor Charles, found stabbed through the neck with his own fountain pen; and poor Dylan - not his real name - bludgeoned to death with his typewriter. Poor Dorothy, comatose all that winter with lead poisoning from chewing the ends of pencils. Poor Jack, first degree burns when his laptop exploded in his face. Poor Michael, suffocated on the pages of his manuscript; and poor, poor Lydia, dead by paper cuts.
