Brief Author Bio:

I manage a group home for 3 men who have various disabilities, including autism. I also homeschooled my 3 youngest children through high school. My other interests include ALL 8 of my grandchildren, stopping puppy mills (I have had two former puppy mill mamas that I adopted.), crocheting, theater, writing, and autism awareness.

This is my second year at NaNo. Two years ago, both my sons and some of their friends were doing it and told me. It was too late then (Thanksgiving!) but I made them promise to remind me the next year. Well, last year one son reminded me, sort of, and we started writing together, he in Brooklyn, and I in Murray. Something interesting happened... he never finished, but I did! I found it a wonderful experience to watch the story unfold and the different directions it would take as I typed! I had to do it again this year! (Neither son is doing it this year.... so much for them! Ha ha!)
