The Life of Edward
an excerpt
I stood up and she was laying there on the ground still as death with a stream of blood coming out of her nose which was all red and raw looking. I called her name and jabbed at her with my foot but she didn't move.
I'm pretty sure I killed her cause I watched her for another fifteen minutes or so and she didn't move at all except the blood running out of her nose made a pool under her head that got bigger and bigger. When I realized that her eyes had been open and unblinking since I kicked her I decided that she was dead. Then I realized that I had to get the hell out of there before my aunt or Jim came back.
