Brief Author Bio: I'm a frequent commuter; I have done most of nano events in the East Bay, but now that I'm more centrally (-valley) located I might do more things out here. I've been participating since I was 14 and wrote my first nano novel at 16. Things can only get better from here, right? |

Synopsis: The Lights of New York
The earthquake hit, and the tsunamis followed. The lights went out.
In the last ten year, Sylvia and her new "family" have carved out their life in the new Montana desert, but now their only hope of continued existence lies in the distant hope of New Canada, formerly Seattle.
Surrounded by emboldened wildlife, dangerous survivalists, and backed against the wall of a failing water supply, they have no choice but to make the effort and the journey.
If that fails, the only thing they have to hope for is a thousand miles distant: the lights rumored to glow in New York City.
