Fairy Tale
an excerpt

The lightning bolt shot her down, like an angry God jabbing at her side. She fell down like a lumberjack chopping down a redwood tree. Fiery ghosts tore through her body like lonely people looking for some love, but sadly they are not getting any.

Suddenly, a pastel colored artist brush appeared before her. Bunnies hopping all around her, jolly music clanging like cymbals held by a toddler. A distant cry of, it sounds like a trumpet and a neigh of a horse.

Where is she?

Oh is that the delighted shouts and screams of a half a dozen princesses? Why is that poor man running? Oh he is hiding. But why? Can he see Jan in all her smoked out misery?

Is Jan awake yet?
