Brief Author Bio: I've been writing basically my whole life. I have some troubles sticking to my ideas and writing stories that are longer than 5000 words, but NaNo is helping me overcome this. |

Excerpt:
“I am not capable of death. I am beyond that childish game.” The Queen had a hard look in her eye as she glared down her attackers.
“You jest,” they replied. “We know the truth and you only say this to throw us off. We have come to kill you. You will die, and your kingdom will fall. Things will never be the same again.”
“Then kill me,” replied the Queen. “Kill me, but the blood that I will leave on your hands shall stain you forever. You will never see the world in the same way ever again. And when you regret your decision, when you regret it every day until you die as well, remember this: that you had a choice. I gave you a choice to walk away. You do not have to follow his orders. He is not royalty. He is not the leader of this country.”
“He’s as good as!” muttered one of the ones hiding in the back of the group. The Queen smirked. “Well then? Aren’t you going to be getting on with it?”
A flash of silver and a thud, and the Queen fell to the cold, marble floor.
The kingdom had fallen at last.
