Synopsis: Exiled

In 1838 the Cherokee Nation was brutally removed from their ancient homelands. Rounded up and herded to land nearly 1,000 miles away set aside for them by the US Government without time to prepare in a year of severe weather extremes nearly 1 in 5 died. This is the fictional tale of one young girl and her struggle to survive both the terrible weather and the inhuman treatment hurled against her people.
