Synopsis: Rutilus Terra: Blood of Red

It seems in all the history of the world there always a ruling system that no longer cares for the people beneath it. Though the people were cruel, they always get what's coming to them, and it was no different when the royal family of Rutilus Terra were dragged from their homes and beheaded. The people of the kingdom made sure to exterminate all that was once part of the great Rutilus Royal bloodline, or so they had thought. Seven years later a rumor spread through the lands of Rutilus, Crocinus and Infractus, of a single living relative of the throne. A band of those once loyal to the Monarchy headed out, they're sole purpose to find that child and secure them onto the throne.

Elsewhere in a small village, Elsie prepares to start another day, unaware of the chaos that is about to unfold around her.

Excerpt: Rutilus Terra: Blood of Red

"I can't imagine getting to go to some sort of ball to dance about in flittery dresses," Lana sighed out, cupping her face. "It all seems like those fairytales they read to young children, being swept away in a carriage and carried away to become a princess of some sort" She chimed dreamily. Elsie smiled and patted her friend on the head, shaking her own in disbelief.

"You daydream too much Lana, I may have been 'swept away' but my carriage is pulled by a large beast and I see no prince holding a glass slipper in sight" She laughed and ran her fingers through the end of her braid.

"Yes, but you must admit, it seems like such a romantic idea~" Lana continued, drifting off into another dreamy look. The redhead sighed at her friend's actions and leaned back in her seat, preparing to nap, while Cecilia continued to drone on about society.
