The whole time we were running neither of us was watching where we were going. Now that we took the time to notice, we realized that we were about to reach a dead end. We both looked to the side, looking for a turn, or a door, or anything. There was nothing.
"Right on through?" I suggested.
"Do we have a choice?" She said taking my hand. Maybe this wouldn't be the worst time of my life.
Faster and faster we flew, gaining speed every second. We've never flown this fast before, was it our connection? Could this be what the old fool meant? And if this was right then was the rest?
We were so close together now that I could feel her heartbeat. We were no longer watching where we were going, that’s a little difficult when you're holding someone so close.
We were looking into each others eyes, I realized there was no questioning the old fool at this point, we were meant for each other. Just as the wall crept close enough to make out the shity paint job we closed our eyes…
