Favorite music: for writing - classical, oriental/chinese/japanese traditional music always instrumental. but in general SHOWTUNES! Judy Garland and Doris Day are my main ones but lots and lots and lots of boxsets "best of the shows" etc and of course phantom, and the lovely Fred Astaire and andything pre 1955, i have a lot of soundtracks.
