Synopsis: DNA o.K.

Julie Jian hadn't really wanted to be a cop but her mother—a hard-bitten old bounty hunter with no hair, one eye and three teeth—had insisted. But now she's stuck with a partner grieving for his dead partner, and who doesn't like her to boot. And she's beginning to suspect she might have slept with one or two of her superiors.

Then this green officer is whisked off to be part of a Central investigation. The target: a serial killer selling dangerous viruses. A vicious assassin who may or may not have government backing.
