Synopsis: Singularity

The story of a woman in the throes of this constant crisis we call life. This includes the attraction to an emotionally unavailable man that may or may not be mutual, the anxiety of forming new friendships and the vague sense of relief and disappointment of watching old friendships fall apart like a poorly-knit scarf.

Excerpt: Singularity

It had been warm for the past few days, despite Autumn having arrived weeks ago and settled into the surrounding landscape without obstacle, and Delilah was pretty sure that was due exclusively to small children’s parents’ fierce prayers, because now that Halloween was over the warmth was waning and as she was walking in from her car a positive chill came over her, making her shiver and wrap her arms around herself. The cold didn’t only affect her outside, though. Something told her if she didn’t get inside soon, her very soul would freeze solid.
