Brief Author Bio: Er, hi! Maaike, 20 years old, Dutch, female, trying not to die of a double major at Uni (English & Law). Mostly upbeat, kinda nerdy, flailing around with more ideas than I can ever hope to fit into a plot and hoping to actually make it to the finish line this go-around! In 2007 I failed tragically, thanks to a stack of exams mid-November and a plot which required so much hella interesting research that I basically got lost in my nerdiness and forgot to actually write. Victorian London: why so interesting? Thinkin' I may set my novel in a slightly later time period this year, so I can actually make it past chapter one! |
