It was winter in Nepal, the worst possible season to attempt climbing the behemoth of Mount Everest. But, against all odds, a skilled climbing team had already scaled halfway up the rugged peak. Currently taking refuge in an ice cave in the side of the landmass, they were engulfed in the worst blizzard they had ever experienced. The camp was silent, apart from the relentless torrent of snow bombarding the walls of the shelter, until a deafening blast shook the area.
