Excerpt: The boss from hell dies

The microwave went off as the as “The ladies of lunch” and the IT guys gathered for their daily meeting. Meeting was about to begin with the chairwoman Lea Bronski with the opening remarks.
“Now as you know the bitch is on the war path again. Georgia would be here but she has been running crazy. After the virus incident this morning”

“Yeah” chimed in Greg the head of IT as he started to describe what she did this time. This time it was a nasty Trojan called “Witches Brew”. The Witches Brew” showed a flashing witch on the computer screen and proceeded to attach the network and everyone’s e-mail accounts. Then it crashed the network system cutting off video conference calls, phones, computers, everything including the lights.

It was amazing what one virus could do to so many systems. Even Con Edison had to be called in to fix the circuit breakers in the building.

“I heard” said Kristie “that every tenant in the building has been calling Mr. Winthrop about the incident. They said it also affected their systems since Ms. Rosco (as she likes to be called now since the divorce was made final from Henry Gerald Ashley the III.) has many of their e-mails on our accounting system, since we do their books.”

“Its’ true” said Harriet, Mr. Winthrop’s assistant, a lovely 50 something with jet black hair with just a touch of grey. She was smart as a whip Harriet Sanchez was. She has been Mr. Winthrop’s assistant since the company opened 30 years ago.

It took all morning to get things up and running and al the bitch could say was and Greg quoted “I didn’t do it, I don’t even know how to turn a computer on”
“Which was bullshit” said Leo. She was too responsible and Bruno gave her hell. Bruno Winthrop III is the president and CEO of Winthrop foundation of learning and child development. The Winthrop family was one of the oldest and most philanthropic families in the US. They built homes and schools and more.

“Can you believe he finally told to tell her off” said Joey D the assistant IT manager, “I mean you should have seen the look on his face, when he showed her all the porn that was coming in on his computer in front of a client no less.”

“The look on her face was priceless as she walked out the door of his office with her tail between her legs. The best day I had in weeks” smiled Greg as he walked out whistling a happy tune. That sounded a lot like ding dong the witch is dead.

Before the story moves forward and why “the bitch” is known as the bitch she needs to be introduced. Beverly “the bitch” Rosco is the legal manager for the company. She is manages the legal area of the accounting department. She failed the bar 3 times before finally passing last year. This 40 something blonde haired, green eyed monster used to be a pretty good CPA in the company before going to law school after the divorce. Once she graduated law school she became super bitch. She could do no wrong in the eyes of management who promoted her to manager of the department. That is when the terror began and the bitch was born.
