Synopsis: Inquiline

I wish I knew how to categorize this. It's kind of a vampire-type story - "they walk among us" but 'they' aren't vampires.

A young woman gets pregnant by her boyfriend, and it doesn't take long to find out that her boyfriend, her baby, and even her best friend are not what she thought.

It's not really horror, but it is kind of suspense. I kept thinking of it as sci fi/fantasy, since that's what I read, but it really doesn't have any of the typical elements of those.

Maybe I'll just call it speculative fiction, since it's set in our world (in 1980) but things happen that don't happen in real life.
