Synopsis: Zeitgeist

Going back to the beginning now, after everything that’s happened, is bizarre. I just finished reading through everything- not to change it at all, but to try and decide what to put here to tell you what you’re in for- and it’s amazing seeing what I didn’t know, and what I thought I knew.

I’m still not sure how exactly what to tell you. At first, when I was trying to decide what this is about, I thought it was war. But reading through, I realized that this isn’t a story about war, so much as it’s the story of the aftermath of war. This is a story about death, and about a world damanged (or perhaps just changed?) beyond the point of no return. But it’s also about life, and learning to adjust to things- learning to live with them.

At its root, I guess, this is a post-apocalyptic story about a teenage girl trying to find her self in a world that would rather have her know her place.
