Genre: Fantasy
About SilverArrowLocation: Neither Seattle nor DC... Home Region: Age:21 Favorite novels: um... all of them? Especially The Phantom Tollbooth... My sister's unfinished ones where everyone dies (take THAT, fuz!) Favorite writers: see "favorite novels;" MY Sis, Norton Juster, Diana Wynne Jones, Tolkien, Shannon Hale, Sharon Creech... Oh! Dickens. And Austen. Favorite music: Currently a combo of the Easter Parade soundtrack, Steppin' Out: Astaire Sings, The Very Best of Cole Porter, & Let's Face the Music and Dance (a bunch of Astaire songs). Also a smattering of showtunes, esp. Gilbert and Sullivan; Relient K, Switchfoot, Five Iron Frenzy... almost anything on my Zune. Post-Thanksgiving, the Soundtrack for The Muppet Christmas Carol (and other various Christmas CDs, but that one especially) will be blasting at a loud volume from my computer, despite its awful speakers Non-noveling interests: Thinking I can knit, reading too much, taking too many books out of the library, maybe possibly doing classwork? But that's not so interesting. Studio Era musicals (30s-50s), especially if it's a FredandGinger flick :) |

Brief Author Bio: I'm a college kid. Yay! Um... Pumpkin is pretty much my favorite flavor of anything (which is fortuitous for NaNo, when all the coffee places still have the pumpkin flavors out). But not all Pumpkin Lattes are created equal. For example, Kayak's' is better than Panera's (Actually it was a St. Louis Bread Co, to be exact). Um. I like to write a lot, and for some reason all my FMCs have either black or red hair (one of them has both!). IDK where that came from, as I'm a blonde. I guess I just don't like that many blond(e) characters, like Malfoy for instance. My victory incentive is The Astaire and Rogers Ultimate Collector's Edition. I'm... totally psyched. |

Synopsis: Library of Alexandria and/or The Raven and/or the random unnamed movie musical novel
Well.
Library of Alexandria is about this world that's connected to ours. This world is populated with people who regulate, catalog and store things from ours - music, cuisine, books... The MC, Airy wants to be assigned to work in music, but is instead assigned to the book storers - The Library of Alexandria. She accidentally ends up in our world/various others and uncovers various conspiracies and other fun stuff.
The Raven is about a college girl who accidentally ends up becoming a superhero. Dealing with balancing college, the media and superhero-ing and all that.
The Random Unnamed Movie Musical Novel is kinda based on the Studio Era musical (30s-50s) except maybe in an alternate history. Or a fantasy world. Or in the distant, space-faring future. It's about an ex-child actress who gave up the movies, until the industry comes hunting for her. Various conspiracies and intrigue thrown in for good measure.
