I'm Ben... I'm not a recovering World of Warcraft addict... I've done NaNo now for ... umm.. my brain wants to say seven years, but I don't trust it. In any respects, a majority of those were successful years. The last two years have not been good. Either due to a bad job or still recovering from a bad job (System Administration and Software Development sucks as a primary job =).

I'm one of those evil "Eaganites" (We are like deadites, but we have more class.. or is that we are in a "higher class") that visits Ninas or the local Panera on Friday nights after work. I don't tend to get beyond the St Paul / Eagan / Mendota area during NaNo (still wish I had a good locally owned coffee/cafe shop with wifi in Eagan).

I mainly write modern fantasy. A decent chunk of it revolves around the Twin Cities, Winona, and Western Wisconsin area. But I have devolved into High School Furry Romance (don't ask), and played a bit in horror/suspense.
