Synopsis: End of Days
The world started it's slow and painful demise 5 years ago, throwing us into the middle of the last war on earth: the war between the Angels and Daemons. We are hunters, supernaturals, our missions drawing us to the end of days, and I am the key to ending it all, for better or for worse.
Excerpt: End of Days
For a time, we tried to exist as a society. A society in chaos governed by martial law, but still a society. Now, most of that has fallen away, and people do what they have to to survive. There are still pocketd villages hidden away, protected by those who have discovered that their talents lie not in battle, but in various forms of what was once known as "witch craft". Now, those with their gifts are seen to be as valuable as those who know how to fight. These little vilages are safe havens, if you can get in. They have to protect their own.
As for the rest of us, we are nomads. We keep off the main roads, where we're open to attack. When all of this started, the majority of people were just average. They were regular joes. But those of us who aren't "normal people", those of us who count ourselves amoung the ranks of the hunters, we knew this was coming, and this gave us the advantage of knowing how to live like survivalists. Sure, there are a few rambo-wannabes who think that living off the land is as simple as it seems in the movies, and there are the soldiers who survived the first wave, who believed that their battlefield experiance was still relivant. Those are the ones that we hunters like to call "bait". It seems cruel, but a lot of the time these were the foolhardy, stubborn know-it-alls who will tune out the voice of experiance to play the hero. Civilians should never play the hero. Bait never learns.
Now, here we are, 2017, and the world is still ending. Things had started to balance out, the survivors are surviving. But something is coming. Things change so quickly when you question everything, and suspect everyone.
The End of times is about to become a big, crazy cluster-fuck. And we would never have seen it coming if we hadn't made one little detour.
