Synopsis: My Lady (Working Title)

Maya is an average sophmore in high school, with average grades, an average life and average friends. Her only extraordinary tallent it her sewing skill. But however average and dull her life is, Maya is satisfied. The only thing she ever wanted is a sweet boyfriend and life to continue as is. However, all this changes one day, when her father is diagonsed with cancer. And he has only three months to live. When he dies within a month, Maya feels her ordinary life crashing down around her. How will she survive? With a little help from her friends, the star basketball player, Todd, and a some hope, maybe, just maybe, she can make it through.
