Synopsis: Be careful what you wish for

The night Maddie's tour guide mother arrives home after six months away - not two, it was supposed to be TWO - she gives her daughter a gift picked up on her travels.
It's a journal, made from what the local villagers called 'The Wishing Tree' which was hacked to pieces by developers.
Maybe the journal grants its owner their every desire. But when Maddie wishes her mother was around more often, and her mother loses her job, Maddie realises that there is a price to pay, for getting everything you wish for.
