Brief Author Bio:

I've been writing since I was able to pick up a pencil and form letters on the paper. I attempted Nano in o7, before I realised there was an actual website for it, and failed utterly. My o8 attempt wasn't much better. I have better faith that this year I will win.

Synopsis: Moonlight

Ace Madden is a wolf on the run. Betrayed by her suddenly human-hunting Pack, she finds herself at the center of a murder mystery straight out of a novel - and all the clues point to herself as the murderer.

She befriends the naive Catriona and tech-savvy Howell, and the three of them set out to prove that Ace isn't the one behind the murders with everyone - Ace's old Pack, the human law enforcement, and a shady group known only as The Insiders - out to prove her guilty.

But Catriona is guilty of her own deadly secret, one that could destroy them all if it ever comes to light. A secret that The Insiders seem to know. A secret that Ace needs to know - before time runs out.

Excerpt: Moonlight

The wind shifted once, and she lifted her head, scenting the air automatically.
There was just a hint of – something.

Then it was gone.

Ace was alarmed by it, nonetheless. That can’t be possible, she told herself. She’d gotten well away from them.

“Howl,” she whispered in warning. He stopped short, looking at her.

“What’s up?”

“Someone’s here.”

He froze, glancing around nervously. “Who?”

They’d been drifting slowly towards the edge of the building; now a hollow chuckle rang out into the silent London morning.

“You’ve been a naughty, naughty girl, Acelynn.”

Ace’s heart dropped into her stomach with an audible thud. “Get out of here, Howl,” she whispered. “Get Cat, and go away.”

"What?”

Chen Syaoran stepped out from behind the corner of the building, a manic look in his eyes. He looked unstable, as though any second, he would go completely around the bend. She’d never seen him looking like this before.
