Sixth Ejection
Noun.
sɪksθ ɪˈdʒɛkt'sjɔ̃
- A military manoeuvre, being the sixth of six levels of reaction to a threat, which results in complete mobilization of a country’s or coalition’s armed forces.
Day 1
Sitting in the hastily constructed command tent Forward Major Simon Kettle sighed as he despaired over the fact that, despite the advances in technology research and development had cranked out; they had yet to work out how to remove all the interference from rain.
Simon, 38, born and raised in the back lands of Talapar in the small town of Kerham. The second of four, having one older brother and a younger brother and sister, he was very protective of his younger siblings. He entered into the military at 22, after doing a small apprenticeship in engineering. He was promoted straight to Demolitions Captain, and quickly rose through the ranks from there. As he sat there watching his charge, the Talaparian 4th Infantry, setting up camp in this plain and building checkpoints and barriers on the road he began to remember about previous campaigns. These thoughts he quickly pushed aside to prevent from clouding his judgement and to stop other memories from surfacing.
