Brief Author Bio:

What can I say? I'm 46, have a wonderful wife and 4 ADHD kids.
http://adhdfamilyfun.blogspot.com

I'm a programmer who ought to be typing a program right now rather than this...
I'm involved in Awana.
I'm involved in scouts, too, and have written several songs for them.

I come from a great Italian/Norwegian family. They are wonderful.

I love what I do!

And I have been picked up and shaken by the Creator until my Creative juices started flowing again. Now, I can't stop writing - music, novels, poems, plays.

It's so cool it's scary. I'm on my fifth novel now, and having the time of my life!
I just finished writing my 120th song since July 2006.

I've written 3 plays in the last couple years.
And I recently started work on the script for a movie.

But I'm not bragging, because it ain't me. Send any praise up. I'd still be in mopesville if it weren't for the One who took me and shook me. ;-)

Most of my work is strictly Christian in nature, the story I'm currently writing, not so much, but it has a definite moral lesson. Watch your Mouth.

Gotta go write something - right now, it should be a program, later, another chapter! Yay!

Synopsis: The Blue Door

Everyone in the family knew Grandad was eccentric. And a brilliant physicist. But when he disappeared without a trace one day in July, the family was convinced it was the result of foul play.

The police were called, but they discovered he'd paid all his bills for a year, even stopped deliver of his paper. They told the family, "Ah, he's just gone on a year-long trip. Don't worry!"

Eleven months later, Dad got a Western Union delivery. A note that said simply, "Meet me at 7:30pm on 7/30 at my house. Don't tell anyone where you're going. Come alone. Make sure you're not followed."

The kids were convinced they'd finally find out what happened to Grandad.

That is, until Dad disappeared too...

Now, the kids are determined to rescue Dad and Grandad. But to do so, they'll have to move into the old physicist's home, and unravel the mystery behind the Blue Metal Door.

Excerpt: The Blue Door

“You know,” Anne said around a mouthful of food, “this house would be a wonderful little cottage if it weren’t for that odd blue metal door on the front, and this hideous purple wallpaper here in the kitchen.”
“It’s not really purple anyway,” said Matt. “It’s just blue and red dots all crammed together.”
“Well, whatever,” said Anne, sticking her tongue out at Matt. “I think it’s gross. Especially someplace where you have to eat.”
“I thought girls liked purple,” said Matt slyly.
“It’s not purple; you said so yourself,” Shelley interjected.
“Listen, kids,” said Donna. “We’re going to have to avoid the fussing and fighting. And those bags of trash that you and those people from church hauled out – I want them all back in the house after dinner. We’ve got to go through them, see if there are any clues.”
“What?” said Jack. “That’s crazy! Do you want them all dumped back out on the floor too?”
“Don’t talk to mom that way,” growled Matt.
“Who died and made YOU dad?” said Jack. He choked on his burger, suddenly regretting his words.
“Nobody died,” Matt said bitterly. “Nobody at all.”
Shelley burst into tears. “I want my Daddy!” she bawled, falling into her mom’s arms.
Donna wept with her for a bit, stroking her hair. “We all do, honey. We all do. And we’ll get him back.” Her face grew hard. “And God help the person who gets in our way.”
