Synopsis: Puppy Love

Amy (?) likes to destroy herself. She drinks. She smokes. She does drugs. She barely eats. She spends all night partying. She goes to school hungover and on drugs more often than not. She's friends with people in high places--herself included. Amy has secrets--fears that eat her up inside but that she doesn't dare let show. Somehow, she's never been caught, until her school searches lockers and bags. Amy is then sent to Greenachres Animal Rescue Rehabilitation Center. There, she works with rescue animals daily while undergoing treatment. Pretty soon, she learns why it is people love animals so much--for the love she never got with her own family.
