"And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking/
Racing around to come up behind you again/
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older/
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death."
Pink Floyd - Time

"Overhead the albatross hangs motionless upon the air/
And deep beneath the rolling waves in labyrinths of coral caves/
The echo of a distant tide/
Comes willowing across the sand/
And everything is green and submarine/
And no one showed us to the land/
And no one knows the where's or why's/
But something stirs and something tries/
And starts to climb towards the light."
Pink Floyd - Echoes

Synopsis: Everything Under the Sun

It's not quite 40,000 leagues under the sea, but 19,000 meters is more than deep enough for David Polard to crash in his sub, become lost and found again one year later when young Robyn Beck takes on the challenge to find out what had happened to him in the first place. And as David retells the story of how he survived his underwater abandonment, Robyn realizes that they may have brought back more than a supposed dead man from the watery depths. As hard as it may have been for both of them the first time that they went down they soon discover that they have no choice but to return in order to find out what went wrong the first time.

"This is Tony Kolen, head researcher for the Challenger Deep project, and today is the second of October, 2008, 2:45pm. My coworkers on this project include Victoria Lacmon and Alex Lepp, two graduate student researchers, and Johnathon Neelich, captain of the vessel we were conducting our experiment on. I regret to say for this status update that the project has been aborted, due to a most tragic and unforeseen event. David Polard, our hired sub diver and data collector was declared deceased this morning after review of all the evidence from the accident yesterday morning..."
