Synopsis: It Tastes Like Copper
Push Burrows is a leading scientist on the Mist Project, a global mist that covers the entire planet and was produced as a temporary solution to the problem of Ghosts. The Ghosts that mysteriously began appearing and systematically wiping out humans two years ago, without explanation or precedence. But there's a problem. The Mist is causing mutations at a surprisingly rapid rate, and something needs to be done.
Stuck between a rock and a hard place, humanity has to either live with the terrible ghostly threat, or that of the new vampiric mutants. In a last ditch effort humans create the Tokyo Centaur, bio-mechanical super soldier to command an elite battalion of 1500 genetically engineered soldiers to destroy the vampires.
All seems to be going well, until the blood of Tokyo Centaur is spilled, and causes a viral infection that rapidly spreads through the remaining human population, turning them into Zombie like creatures.
Now the battle between humans, vampires, zombies and ghosts for supremacy over the planet is fully under way. Push Burrows is caught trying to save his family in the middle of all this terrible horror. Can he find a way? Can he collaborate with old friend and Colonel Mann Michaels to bring about a solution, or will he have to turn to his old enemy Bear Rodgers to find a diplomatic solution, a truce between Ghosts and Humanity?
The pockets of humans that remain are under threat of extinction, but Push is not prepared to let that happen.
