B.D. Welton

I am 17 years old and a Senior in High School. This will be my third year participating in NaNo, though the excitement of it still feels as if it is still the fist. After two year of winning and finishing novels, I can’t wait to see where this year may take me. Renda, the wonderful ML of South Seattle has been a great leader through it all, and I am glad I found that group.
With college heavy on the horizon, I have been frantically flipping through websites trying to find the best fit that will support my dream of become an Author. I plan to study English/Creative Writing as well as Japanese. NaNo has been a great push for me, and a major component that has keep my dream alive.
Other then spending time writing, I am a Crew Tech at my schools Theater. Drama has been a part of my life for nine years and I love spending time in the darkness of the stage. I also spend many hours training in Kempo (Karate/Jujitsu/Kung Fu) I have a level three black belt in Tae Kwon Do and just this last summer decided to expand my Marshal Arts.
I am thrilled to return to another month of heavy coffee intake and sleepless nights caused by only one thing “Where exactly is my novel taking me?” After a year with SouthSea Writers, I feel completely ready to jump start on my next noveling adventure.
