Synopsis: Bloodstream

When Ash's next door neighbour dies, leaving him a ruby-enlaid knife and a rather demanding cat, he didn't know his life was about to change forever. Forced into a alternate world hiding at the bottom of his garden, Ash finds himself victim to a curse that seals his vocal chords, rendering him mute. His days become filled with silence as his nights are invaded by a strange man with blood-red hair who promises him his voice back and more if he only rescues him from the bonds that tie him to the earth.

Except nobody is sealed away for eternity for no reason. Just who is the voice in Ash's head, and why does he need his help?
