Brief Author Bio:

Professional writer and a crip since the age of 16. I can also brag about being a published author (unfortunately not yet a published novelist, though I have been working towards that for 20 years now. Before this year's NaNo I've written five novels (1998, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2008 if my memory serves me right).

I write in Finnish, which means that when I reach 50k it's actually the equivalent to something like 70-75k in English. True masochism for someone who struggles to write a novel longer than 35k words.

Synopsis: Maria's Book of Revelations

Aged just 11, Maria becomes severely ill and returns to school in wheelchair. She quickly learns there's a certain etiquette that crips have to follow, but what if you don't want to be that nice and inspirational crip? What if you want to be a fucking extraordinary person?
