Brief Author Bio: It is the next year. Elections are not being held in the city I work for so... I will give it another go. I figure if I spend my entire lunch break every day as well as a half hour before and after work writing ... that gives me 2 hours a day to write about 2,500 words a day. If I pull this off, at the end of the month I will have my novel done AND I'll be skinny. =D |

Synopsis: Chandaliered Souls of the Nemertea
A solid, well-respected family experiences a job loss which results in other losses and set-backs. In response they start a support group, inviting members of their church and neighborhood into their home to help each other and network. When a 14 year-old girl disappears, the investigation reveals that this family is not as perfect as it had seemed. This novel will explore how we apply the concepts of forgiveness, grace and mercy to our lives. It will also explore how our world is shrinking and how, even when we think we are taking precautions, anyone can find us. No one is safe.
Excerpt: Chandaliered Souls of the Nemertea
Approximately 1000 valid, described species of the phylum Nemertea, or ribbonworms, are known worldwide, inhabiting oceans, freshwaters, and land. Current field-work suggests that at least several times this number remain to be named or discovered. Nemerteans are unsegmented worms characterized by a unique and remarkable eversible proboscis. Some are very colorful, while others are drab. They range from one millimeter to more than 30 meters long. They can be voracious predators, some are highly specialized while others are more eclectic, with diets that favor other worms, crustaceans, and mollusks. They are poorly known to non-specialists, because most nemerteans live in concealment and are difficult to collect, and because traditional taxonomy focuses significantly on internal anatomy based on histological study. However, many are common, abundant and can be key predators.
