Favorite writers: Chuck Palahniuk, Christopher Moore, Susan Kay, Rita Ciresi, Ann Patchett, Megan McCafferty, Chaim Potok, Mikal Gilmore, Amos Oz, and of course, the classics, like Jane Austen and Charlotte Bronte....but NOT Emily Bronte; ew, yuck. Favorite music: Usually instrumental, but I do find that soulful male singers bring out the best in my writing. Non-noveling interests: Photography, music, reading, eating cheese. Lots of it. =) |

Synopsis: Take the Long Way
David Sirva is a 29 yr old musician who has just made it. He and his band, Midnight Drive, have won a New York Battle of the Bands, and have received a chance to record on a major LA label. Unfortunately, the band breaks up right after the performance, and David is left with a major decision: start a new band or go it alone?
Meanwhile, AnneMarie Sullivan leads a life of boring luxury as a 30 yr old district manager of a Target franchise. She has a dream late one night of an old flame out in Colorado, and leaves her cushy existence to risk it all for love.
